This mattress is for the top bunk bed and so, I needed to get a thinner one (4 inches).

Because of this, it is not as comfortable as other 6-8 inch mattresses.

Still, good back support and no complains from my 8 yr old daughter who sleeps on this mattress.

Overall, this mattress is firm with good back support.

Harder than given firmness rating of 4/10, had to buy another foam mattress to soften it on top.
