Unlike some other retailers, we do not paint teak. Painting is a commonly used underhand method to cover up substandard wood or workmanship in teak furniture.

Dimensions and colours of wood stains (based on wood age) may vary slightly from piece to piece, and they may display natural imperfections like small cracks and mild warping. These aren't faults – they are details that make each piece beautifully unique.

Instead of conveniently utilising easy-rusting steel roller tracks in the drawers, each drawer in the Oval 3-Drawer Table glides in and out on wooden dovetailed slots, and is held in place with a releasable wooden catch concealed cleverly within.

Like our other teak creations, the Oval 3-Drawer Table is firmly held together with traditional butt joints to retain the old school charm of the furniture. On top of that, the butt joints are further reinforced with epoxy resin and nailed in for extra security.

Beans can last up to 10 years depending on use, but they do eventually break down upon compression and require replacements.


How to refill my bean bag?
The best way to refill your chair and avoid spillage is to do it with someone else. One person can hold the bag open around the zip while the other pours the beans. It is best to put the opening of the bag containing the beans into the bean bag to avoid spills. We recommend you fill the bag indoors as the beans are very light and could fly around even in light winds. Don’t worry, it is a manageable task even for a 10 year old kid.
