The base sits on the sides instead of screwed to the sides. This provides stability. Good bed, no sound so far. Good height from the floor where I can now insert my plastic container. Happy with my buy. Thank you FortyTwo! sahara metal bed frame

Hi, I recently bought the Sahara Metal Bed in July 2019. Have been using it since with a new mattress. The bed frame is sturdy and also light weight. It allows me to easily move it if cleaning is required for the flooring and it can also support my weight and the thick mattress I bought.
