I was a bit skeptical about this the 'cooling' properties of this protector. However - as the price was very reasonable, I purchased one for my son to try out. It worked! My son reported that he felt cooler and much more comfortable. On this basis, I purchased other items in the set (i.e. the blanket, pillow case and bolster case).

This cooling mattress protector makes a lot of difference. With recent hot and humid weather. At least my back do not sweat whenever I am laying on this cooling mattress protector.
