Pretty sofa, quality of assembly can be improved
The sofa itself looks good and fits our theme well. However the quality of assembly can be improved.
One of the sofa leg came off within 10 minutes of delivery. When I was testing the comfort and sitting on the sofa. This caused me to fall and mind you, I have an existing slipped disc injury. This can end up badly.
Service centre is rather responsive and arranged for the guys to return to 'fix' the legs. I was expecting them to use brand new sofa legs, but not, they used the existing leg and assured that it is now secure enough.
It has been 3 weeks since and so far so good. However, we noticed that the 5th leg in the middle doesn't touch the ground at all. It is at least a good 1 inch off the ground. The staff mentioned this is designed on purpose and it is not meant to touch the ground.
so leave this to your own discretion. -

I think this is my 6th purchase from Fortytwo. The name of fortytwo naturally come into my mind when we need to get some new furniture cos services is good from customer service all the way to delivery and installation. The staff of fortytwo are simply professional! My mum is very happy when she received the sofa. Value for money and quality is awesome! Thanks and thumbs up to fortytwo!
