Care and Usage

• Attention! Handle: Because the material is 100% recyclable, they must not come into direct contact with the flame. Therefore, use only over low or medium heat and keep the utensil centered over the stove's flame.
• The maximum volumetric capacity for cooking is 3/4 of the pieces's total capacity.
• Position the utensil's handle inward toward the center of the stove.
• On stoves with grates, center the piece on the flame or heat source and align the handle with the grate.
• Hot utensils should be kept out of the reach of children.
• Before first use, wash with a soft sponge and mild soap or liquid detergent.
• After drying, grease the internal surface with oil or fat and heat it for one or two minutes. Allow to cool and wash again.
• Your Starflon utensil is now ready for use, with or without oil, and always on low or medium heat (never over 260 ¡C / 500 ¡F).
• Only use silicone, nylon, or wood utensils to stir food.
• The knob might come loose over time due to the normal expansion of materials. Retighten them just enough, without forcing.
• Cleaning: Avoid immersing hot utensils in cold water.
• Never use abrasive products when washing.
• In the case of burnt food, soak the area and set aside until the stuck residues can be removed with soap and a sponge.
• For a longer-lasting product, do not place it in a dishwasher.
