Microfibre Sofa Care
1. Keep the sofa away from direct sunlight to prevent the colours from fading out.
2. Vacuum and clean your microfibre sofa regularly, at least once a week.
3. Address stains immediately.
- Vacuum the spot to remove any loose particles available.
- Avoid using water or water-based techniques as it will stain.
- Dab the stained area with a microfibre cloth that’s dampened with dry-cleaning solvent (available at supply stores and online). It is important to follow the instructions carefully.
- For darker stains, use rubbing alcohol and spot treat the area. Soak the head of a Q-tip in the rubbing alcohol and dab on the stain until it lifts. Replace and repeat the process when the Q-tip becomes dirty.
- Press on the wet spot with a clean and dry cloth or paper towel to soak up the excess moisture from the microfibre.
- Dry the area thoroughly using a fan or blow dryer that is on the cool setting.
