Are you worried over your old furniture items and how you can dispose of them before you receive the shiny new furniture from FortyTwo? We are here to help! Simply select the type of item that you wish to dispose of and indicate the quantity for each type of item you wish to have us dispose of, and we’ll be there on the day of delivery to dispose of the items indicated by you and deliver your new furniture at the same time!

Some important information to take note before purchasing our disposal service: 

• The disposal fee is charged per item that you require to be disposed. If you need to dispose more, please increase the quantities required before adding to the cart. 

  For example, add 2 quantities to cart if you would like to dispose of 2 bed frames. To dispose of 4 dining chairs and 1 dining table, add 4 quantities of Medium items and 1 quantity of Large item to cart.

• Inclusive of disassembly of furniture. 

• No hacking or dismantling from walls & ceilings.

• This service is only available to customers who are purchasing products from FortyTwo.sg

• This service is only available on orders containing products delivered by FortyTwo. 

• FortyTwo reserves the right to reject the disposal service if the removal of any item is deemed hazardous. The refund will be processed accordingly. 

Before disposal

To ensure that the disposal process runs smoothly, please kindly provide sufficient space for the disposal to be carried out. Do make sure all items that you do not wish to dispose of are removed from the item that you wish to dispose of, such as decor items or soft furnishings placed within the item to be disposed of before our delivery team arrives for the disposal.

Staircase Fees

If our delivery crew is unable to proceed with the disposal service via the elevator at the point of delivery (eg. Furniture is unable to fit into the elevator, elevator unserviceable upon delivery crew's arrival, refusal of elevator access by building management, etc) FortyTwo will assess (at our own discretion) the feasibility of the disposal service via the staircase in a non-hazardous manner.

*Old mattress disposal is free with purchase of a new mattress from FortyTwo on a piece by piece basis. For example, if you bought 2 new mattresses from FortyTwo and will like to dispose of 3 x old mattresses, you will need to add 1 x Large Item disposal to your cart and select “Free Mattress disposal” at checkout for us to dispose of your 3 mattresses (2 pieces free, 1 piece chargeable).
