We all love it Walter!
My parents each acquired a special chair when they were in their teens (a rocking chair for my mum and a thrift store chair for my dad) and they wanted to give my son a chair of his own, now that he is turning 13. He picked this one out for three reasons. First, it looked really comfortable. Second, he loved the slightly retro look. Third, we wanted to be able to easily dust or wash it, as he is allergic to dust mites. Well it turns out that it is a hit on all three counts - and more! We have discovered that it is SUPER comfortable, just the right height and depth and a BIG plus is that the arms are the perfect width to be used as rests for an i-pad (perfect height for zooming) or a drink. We are so happy with this purchase! One tiny word of advice though: the arms are not directly supported by the feet and do not seem strong enough to be weight bearing. So my son has put a little pile of books under the side my husband is most likely to accidentally perch on:-)
